Scope
CMB-Next2020
We organize a satellite event of CARBON2020, International Workshop on the Carbon Materials Breakthrough in the Next Generation (CMB-Next2020). In this workshop, we discuss carbon materials in the Next Generation from fundamental to application viewing the carbon materials used in various fields of industry and grasping its very essence.
In 1998, cultural property of Nara (ancient capital in Japan), including Heijo Palace Site (the Emperor's living quarters) was declared as the world heritage of the UNESCO. How about feeling the atmosphere of traditional Nara culture reflecting a little on the history while enjoying discussion?
We'd like to welcome you with our hospitality. Young researchers and students are strongly encouraged to attend the CMB-Next2020 in Nara!
Message from the Chair
Welcome to Nara! On behalf of the Next Generation Group of the Carbon Society of Japan, we’re so excited to take place the workshop on carbon materials for young researchers all over the world. The theme of “Carbon Materials Breakthrough in the Next Generation” intends to inspire young researchers to consider how they can contribute to the future of carbon materials. CMB-Next2020 will provide you some valuable opportunities – top technical discussion, increased international collaboration, and fantastic networking among attendees.
We're looking forward to spending time with you in Nara!
