Organizing committee are now planning "Group Discussion". Participants will be divided into each specialized field and will have a detailed discussion.

Poster presentation

“Student poster award” will be offered to the excellent students. Students are strongly encouraged to give poster presentation and discuss with up-and-coming researchers.

Social Program

Get-together (27th June)

On the first evening, after discussion, we walk through the precincts of Todaiji and go to a restaurant "Half Time" in Nara National Museum. On the way, you meet a lot of deers living in Nara Park. They are considered divine messengers and symbols of Nara. Therefore they are allowed to roam freely through the park. Please see the video "The deer of Nara" on Youtube.

Free Tourism (28th June)

The history of Japan as a unified nation began in Nara. In the Nara period (710–784), Our ancestors had already interacted with China and other regions through the Silk Road. This is reflected in Nara's unique history and culture. As a consequence, Nara has three UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Visiting them will help you understand Nara's contribution to Japanese history and culture, and its relationship with the world.
